I came across some great pictures from our Christmas break. The 2 weeks flew by and we were so busy but spent some meaningful time with our family. Scott worked some but was off too. The kids and I even got a chance to visit him at work on a slow day.

Annual Christmas Eve sleepover in Mom & Dad's room! We had to have the trash cans because all the kids had terrible colds and blew their noses throughout the night. Believe it or not that wasn't my idea, they came up with it on their own. :) Next year Eliot will participate...that should be interesting!
Our popcorn machine complete with a fully stocked gluten free concession stand! Wow, this has been so much fun. Each batch costs less than $1 and pops more than enough for our family. I say we'll probably gain about 10 extra pounds this year with this in the house.
Eliot has probably enjoyed the popcorn machine the most. His black eye was compliments of a light saber that he walked into...never a dull moment!
A new favorite...piggy back rides with big sister!
One night Emery & I saw these knots on the computer. We decided to give it a try on her hair. It was super easy and she slept in them overnight...that was probably our 1st mistake.
Here she is the morning after...it was so funny we both nearly peed our pants! She was so embarrassed that she wouldn't let me take a picture from the front. Seriously, her hair was a major Afro!
There were many times that the kids made their own lunch. Wow, I've come along way when 2 out of 4 kids can make a lunch for themselves. Woo hoo!
We have 3 new additions to our family. Eli got a goldfish for Christmas and it quickly died the next day! The poor boy is SO sensitive and was in tears. This round we went with three and didn't fill the tank with our water softener water. We'll see how long they last...
Back on Scott's birthday we bought him tickets to the Harlem Globetrotters. He and Eli went last week here in Cincinnati. What a fun father son day!
A highlight for Eli was getting a Big Red to drink & an ice cream cone. He kept telling me how big his drink was.
After the game he went down to meet some of the players. This guy gave Eli the wrist band that he wore during the game. Eli talked for days about all the funny tricks they played on each other. I'm thankful Scott took our small camera and snapped a few picture for me :)
