We've had the Children's Museum on the list of things to do since the fall. The only thing holding us back was the cost for all 6 of us. We bought passes to the zoo but couldn't afford passes to the museum too. I did a little digging and found that the 3rd Sunday of every month is a FREE day! Wow, that's so awesome for us! Thank you Target..although I'm sure all of my Target shopping has helped this cause in one way or another :)
One of the first stations at the museum is a face painting station. This was such a huge hit will all the kids except Eliot. He really wanted nothing to do with it.
Emery & Eli got right to it and had a ball.

Impromptu puppet show...which Emery wasn't too interested in.
The mail station at the museum was so much fun. You could take the mail from the big box, sort it into the slots for the mail carrier then deliver it all around the room to the different addresses. Em & I had a lot fun with this.
Eliot wanted in on the action too! He was Emery's helper for awhile.
He even wore the uniform.

Our last stop before we left was the penny stamp machine. Eli has been wanting to do one of these since the summer. Our first visit to the museum was a big success. We will definitely visit again on another free day & since it's on Sunday it makes for a nice family outing.
