Last Thursday Emery was chosen as Star Student for her class. Every month a teacher chooses a child to be Star Student and highlights their strengths. Emery was chosen for her good behavior & positive attitude. Funny thing is that Emery's best little friend Jenna was chosen from her class too this month. :) Thanks to Mrs. Uhl for choosing Emery & congratulations to Emery for allowing her strengths to shine through.
When you are chosen as Star Student you get to eat on the stage with your teacher and the PTO brings in Mc. Donald's & Coke! I brought Emery gluten free chicken nuggets from home but she got to have the apples & Coke just like everyone else.
